I am a 28 year old woman in chicago,Il can you help me fund for 7th-12th grade successful business entrepreneurs, and media professionals. I would like to bring something to chicago that will teach these kids how to be successful business entrepreneurs by taking their drawing and turning them into reality with technology and partnerships with big companies. showing the youth how to negotiate, advertise, taking their drawing and make them real, professional speaking and more. Also a different department to show other you how to media professionals by teaching them how to be producers, directors, reporters, magazine editors and writers, etc.. Also would need funding for the equipment and workers that will be teaching all of these students, and in the  real estate location where all of this would be tought. with the money that the youth would receive from selling their projects the students would get 30% to spend how ever they wish and 70% would be for their college education.dew.teena@gmail.com is where you can contact me. can you help me fund the youth to become successful business entrepreneurs and media professionals?

Hi Teena

So sorry it took me a while to get back on here but so much is happening within my house.  Well I am happy you received the package from the transportation company.  Now my problem was I had gotten my package also paying forty cents per mile and re-imbursement for my lunch as long as I produced receipts, but the $300,000 per person liability insurance that I had to have on my vehicle is what stopped me because every insurance company that would insure the van required me to pay $6,000 per year and I did not have that type of money and no where to get it from.  So I have put that on hold for a while and is now trying to go back to college if I could get my defaulted student loan taken care of, I had no idea that I even was in default until I got ready to go back to school.  Well so much for that I wish you well in all your endeavors and do not give up.

The information below is from the Small Business Administration.  Click Here For Website.

A written guide to starting and running your business successfully is essential.  This plan will encourage loans, promote growth, and provide a map for you to follow.

Hope this helps.

We all have dreams when we are young, and often raising children as well. YOUR dream is a very needed and possible one that willl help a lot of kids in your area... Some times we just need some ideas on how to get started, and a direction to begin. I am sure YOU will have plenty of ideas from here, as the saying goes  "GO GIRL" GET THAT JOB DONE. I will be waiting to see your post on how things are progressing. I am sure there wil be times you will want to throw in the proverbial towel, but just wipe off the sweat of your brow, say a prayer, and keep on going even if you hit a few brick walls that need windows and doors you might have to install a few . They will open at some point in time, Hang in and Hang on to your faith....  Cherokeeladyaz

Best wishes for your new project. I know of several large churches that operate world wide and ALL EMPLOYEES  are NOT paid. The operate on volunteers only...

when you begin to recruit volunteers, be sure to include the area churches, as well. you might even consider offering the local courts the opertunity for selected individuals to serve community hours in the service of your company, be it as a file clerk or a receptionest , etc>>>>

Wishing you well, I am a CNA also living in Albany, GA. I am trying now to start a volunteer medical transport service because I know how I had to take my clients to the doctor and other appointments and never got no more than my wage for being a CNA. So I got in touch with the Medicaid Transporting Division and they sent me a package in which they will pay me forty cents per mile plus any monies I spend on luch. so I wish you well in strating something for your city where you are. Especially now with the economy being as it is.

Teena,

If there is an "eyewitness" news station , which i am sure there is, contact them, Maybe there is a reporter who would be willing to do a "HUman interest Story" on you and your kids....especially if you have children already  in your program and working toward thier goals.... Go to the GRants page, start applying!!!!!

Check with boys/girls clubs>> they will some time donate space for such things or maybe have a space for your program with in their own.. Dont forget the local schools in your area > Parent teacher organizations, Quawans club, Libraries, homeless shelters with children,etc.. Best of Luck!!!

Gather all your information together,[Budget for 1 year ] cost of a location for your program, area you want it located, equipment needed [computers, art supplies, office supplies etc] . Then you will need a business plan>> which will in clude a section on operating expenses, rent supplies, transportation for children [if you will have it] electric, insurance, etc.  When all of this is gathered into print, and into abook, YOU are ready to begin YOUR campaign there in the Chicago area.including surrounding areas as well. Roatery clubs, community outreaches / churches, any groups in any neighborhood who will give you time to present a 15 minute talk about your project which will help as many children of Chicage neighborhoods as you can possibly gather...from ALL areas of Chicago. These are my first step thoughts, I am sure you have already put most of them into actions...

I used to live there about 30+ years ago, and then programs like yours would have helped a lot of kids stay in school, and maybe into collage as well... Your program is in my prayers for great results..
